Experimental Probability
The result of an actual experiment done. Usually if it is only repeated a few times the results might not match the theoretical probability.
Subtracting of Real Numbers
When you subtract a number that is an integer from another integer. Ex- -2-5=-7
Distributive Property
Multiply the number outside the parentheses by the numbers inside to get rid of the parentheses. Ex- 3(5+2x) distribute and get 15+6x
Matrix
A rectangualar arrangement of numbers into horizontal rowas and werical columns. Each number is in the matrix is called an entry or an element.
Integer
A number that is either a negative, positive, or 0
Absolute Value
The distance between the origin and the point representing the real number. Ex I-3I absolute value 3 I5+3I absolute value 8
Adding of Real Numbers
When you add a number that is an integer with another integer. Ex- 2+-5= 3
Theoretical Probability
The theoretical probability is what technically should happen. Ex- You flip a coin with 2 sides a hundred times. 50 times it should land on heads and 50 on tails.
Multiplication of Real Numbers
The Rule is that when you multiply an integer if it is a positive and a positive the answer is a positive and if its a negative and negative the answer will be a positive but if its a negative and a positive or a positive and a negative then the answer will be negative.
Dividing of Real Numbers
The Rule is that when you divide an integer if it is a positive and a positive the answer is a positive and if its a negative and negative the answer will be a positive but if its a negative and a positive or a positive and a negative then the answer will be negative.
