- Equation

- Used to represent numbers that are very large or very small in a more simplified way in order to be able to use the numbers more easily.

- Formed by the intersection of two number lines.

- Absolute Value
- The distance a number is from zero
- Substitution Property
- For all numbers a and b, if a=b then a may be replaced with b.
- Associative Property of Addition
- For any numbers a, b, and c, a=(b+c)=(a+b)=c.

- The number in the middle after the numbers are arranged in order.
- Unit Rate
- A rate with a denominator of 1.

- In a proportion, the first and fourth terms.
- Sample
- A group that is used to represent a whole population.

- An equation that, when graphed, forms a line.

- A combination of variables, number, and at least one operation.

- A graph that uses a key to represent the data.

- The numerical part of a term.

- Two or more equations with the same solution.

- Graphs used to that shows changes over a period of time>

- To replace variable with numbers and finding the numerical value of the expression.
- Ratio
- A comparison of two numbers.

- Union
- The set that consists of everything in all the sets.
- Exponents
- Nth in the expression b to the Nth
- Multiplicative Property of Zero
- 3(0)=0
- Inequality
- A mathematical sentence that contains <,>,<_, or _>.
- Transitive Property
- For any numbers a, b, and c, if a=b and b=c, then a=c.
- Intersection
- The point where lines cross.
- Number line
- A line with equal distance marked off to represent numbers.
- Bar Notation
- Notation used to show that a decimal repeats.
- Order of Operations
- Do all parenthesis, then all exponents, then all multiplication and division, and finally all additions and subtractions.

- Terms with the same variables.
- Principal
- In a simple interest problem, the money that is invested.
- Mean
- The average.
- Quadrants
- The regions in which a coordinate plane are divided.

- Set of all numbers.
- Mixed Number
- A number made up of a whole number and a fraction.

- A decimal that does not end.

- The center of the Cartesian coordinate plane (0,0).

- The difference between the largest and smallest numbers in a given set of data.

- Any number that can be written in the form a/b, where b is not equal to zero.
- Mode
- the number that appears the most in a set of data.

- Decimal that ends.
- Solution
- The answer to a question or a problem.
- Probability
- The chance that some event will happen.
- Reciprocal
- The multiplicatie inverse.
- Ordered Pairs
- A Pair of numbers used to graph points on the coordinate plane.
- Percentage
- In a percent proportion, a number that is compared to another number called the base.
- Proportion
- A statement of equality of two or more ratios.
- Simple Interest
- Found using the formula I=prt.
- Variable
- A place holder in a mathematical expression or sentence.
- Whole numbers
- Set of numbers that consist of {0, 1, 2, 3, ...}.
