- Ordered Pair
- A pair of number, (x,y), that indicate the position of a point on a Cartesian plane.
- quadrant
- 1 of the 4 regions that a coordinate plane is divided into by the x- axis and the y- axis
- unit ratio
- A ratio that shows the cost per unit of measure
- reciprocal
- (mathematics) one of a pair of numbers whose product is 1: the reciprocal of 2/3 is 3/2
- order of operations
- the order in which operations in an expression to be evaluated are carried out. 1. parentheses 2. exponets 3. multiplication and divison 4. addition and subtraction
- variable
- a symbol (like x or y) that is used in mathematical or logical expressions to represent a variable quantity
- perimeter
- the distance around the outside of a shape
- Domain
- the set of possible numnbers for the x-axis
- Range
- the set of possible numbers for the y-axis
- equation
- a mathematical statement that two expressions are equal
- y-axis
- vertical axis on graph

- horizontal axis on graph
