- regain or make up for. EX. Janka lost her Smile but she recouped it after Mike made a joke.

- The legal process by which a person, business, or government entity is unable to meet financial obligations EX. Mike lives in an eternal state of Bankruptcy

- a statement (either spoken or written) that is made in reply to a question or request or criticism or accusation EX. Hana waited for a response from the bank on a new loan.
