- Agriculture
- The process by which people grow crops; farming.
- Composite Number
- Any whole number that is greater than one and has more than two factors.

- To explain or tell the meaning of.
- Division of Labor
- Having workers do different jobs.
- Prime Factorization
- The act of writing a number as the product of its prime factors; example 24 = 2x2x2x3.
- Realism
- A type of literature that shows or tells things as if they could really happen.
- Government
- A system for deciding what is best for a group of people.
- Genre
- A category of literature that is characterized by a certain style, form or content (examples: biography, folktale, fantasy, science fiction)
- Tall Tale
- A type of folktale that uses some realistic story elements and that exaggerates others.
- Evaluate
- To determine the significance, value, or worth of something.
- Average
- A single number that can represent all other values in a data set.
- Prime Number
- A whole number greater than 1 with only two different factors, itself and 1.
