An empire located in north Africa partially overlapping the mormer Mali empire. The last great empire of north Africa.

A country formerly under Brithish control which was known as the gold coast.

A desert covered country in north Africa which is scarecly populated

A landlocked country in Africa known for their advanced stone buildings and walls.
Ethiopia
This is Africas second largest country located in Eastern Africa.

When the people who spoke the languge of Bantu, migrated further north.
Triangular trade
A trade between Africa, America, and Europe. The Africans supplied slaves to America, the American sent raw materials to the Europeans, and the Europeans sent guns and rum to Africa.

A major trading city named from the empire of Axum.
Asante Kingdom
Located where present day Ghana is located, and was formed in the 1700's.
Factory Forts
The forts which held raw materials including slaves and gold, moslty in Europe.
Trans Saharan Trade
The trade route that streches across the Sahara desert
