ACEI. First nonpeptide ACE inhibitor. No intrinsic activity. May produce bone marrow depression.
Enalapril
ACEI. Prodrug metabolized to enaliprilat. 10-20x more potent than captopril. Does not contain sulfahydryl group.
Lisinopril
ACEI. A lysine derivative of enalipril
Benazepril, Fosinipril, Ramipril
ACEI. Lack sulfa group. Are prodrugs. Benazepril and ramipril are cleared mainly by kidney.
