- learning
- an experience that results in a relatively permanent (conscious or deliberate) change in state of learner
- Habituation
- repeated or prolonged exposure to stimulus results in a gradual reduction in responding time

- a NEUTRAL stimulus evokes a response AFTER being paired with a stimulus that naturally evokes a response
