- Oils
- In painting, a medium using oil (usually linseed oil) as a pigment binder.
- Watercolor

- An original hand produced picture that has been transferred from a printing surface to a piece of paper. Personally prepared and directed by an artist. Differs from a reproduction, which is a copy and not an original.

- In print making, an intaglio plate on which lines have been cut by hand.
- etchings
- In visual art, a type of intaglio printmaking in which the design comprises lines cut into a metal plate by acid.
- Dry Point
- In visual art, an intaglio print-making process in which a metal plate is scratched with a sharp needle like tool called a stylus.
- lithography
- In printmaking, a planographic process using an image rendered on a flat surface, such as a stone and treated to retain ink while non image areas are treated to repel ink.
