PRINCIPLE is the RELATIONSHIP between factors (principles and laws), and THEORY is the set of related factors (principles and laws) that EXPLAINs and relates certain phenomena of learning

They are both products of research

TREATMENT: special program that is the SUBJECT of experiment
VARIABLE: something that can have MORE THAN ONE VALUE
EXPERIMENT: PROCEDURE used to test the effect of a treatment

INTERNAL: degree to which results apply to treatment GIVEN. LABORATORY EXPERIMENT
EXTERNAL: degree to which results apply to REAL LIFE. RANDOMIZED FIELD EXPERIMENT (long periods of time)
