suture
the seam formed in sewing up a wound; or method, material, or stitch used in sewing up a wound
lancet
a sharp surgical insturment that is used to make small incisions
cauterize
to burn with a hot iron or with a chemical preventing infection or stopping bleeding (cauterization, cauterant, caustic)
elixir
a remedy that is supposed to cure all ailments; or an imaginary substance once though capable or changing base metals into gold or of prolonging life

the body partition of muscles and tendons that separates the chest cavity from the abdominal cavity in mammals
bile
a bitter fluid secreted by the liver; or ill temper, anger, or bitterness of spirit (bilious)
