Plot
the series of related events that make up a story
subplot
the minor plot that relates in some way to the main story
conflict
the struggle between opposing characters or opposing forces
climax
the point in the story that creates the most interest or greatest suspense
resolution
the point at which the story is brought to a close and conflict is resolved
prallel episodes
repeated elements of the plot
foreshadow
the use of clues or hints to suggest events that will occur later in the plot
