weight
the measure of the force of gravity on an objet.
velocity
describes both speed and direction of an object.
net force
an object always changes the velocity of the object.
Acceleration
Rate of change of velocity.
Average speed
The total distance traveled divided by total time of travel.
Balanced Forces
Forces on objects that are equal in size and opposite in directoin.
Constant Speed
A speed that does not vary.
Force
A push or a pull one body exerts on another.
Friction
The force that opposes motion between two surfaces that are touching each other.
Gravity
Every object in the universe exerts force on every other object.
Inertia
The tendency of an object to resist any change in its motion.
Instantaneous speed
The rate of motion at any given instant.
Speed
The rate of change in position.
