adj - having little or no interest or liveliness; boring
interpolate (into)
verb - 1 to add (words) to a book or manuscript, especially in order to make the text misleading or corrupt. 2 to alter (a text) in this way. 3 to interrupt a conversation, a person speaking, etc with (a remark or comment)
melodramatic
adj - excessively emotional, sensational
promulgate
verb - 1 to make (a decree, etc) effective by means of an official public announcement. 2 to publicize or promote (an idea, theory, etc) widely

adj - 1 unpoetic; unimaginative. 2 dull, ordinary and uninteresting
