What does anterior mean? Give an example.
It means to be in front of something. Example: Your eyes are anterior to your brain.

What does deep mean?
It means to be farther inside the body. Example: Your heart is deep to your skin.

It means to be farther away from your torso. (Just for your limbs.) Example: Your wrist is distal to your elbow.

It means to lie below something. Example: Your ankles are inferior to your knees.

Lateral means to be farther away from your midline. Example: Your eyes are lateral to your nose.
